Don’t knock it till you try it, these crispy treats made from marshmallow Fruity Pebbles are delicious no matter what your age.
When it comes to my childhood, fruity cereals were definitely part of my breakfast routine. What kid can resist starting their day with a sweet, colorful cereal? How about if there are marshmallows in the mix as well? Apparently you can now have it all as I spotted the new Marshmallow Fruity Pebbles at Walmart.
But why stop with just mini cereal marshmallows? Let’s add even more marshmallows and make crispy treats! Are they breakfast, are they dessert? I’m not gonna tell you what to do, except telling you to make these and so that you can enjoy cereal anytime of the day.
These bad boys disappeared as fast as any other crispy treat I’ve ever made. I served them at a game night/moving away party for my friend Haley who is heading to Richmond, VA today to attend grad school there, leaving us all sad in Columbus. But I must digress before I start tearing up. Our friends said these bars tasted like their childhood with an extra blast of awesomeness.
What’s your idea for enjoying cereal anytime of day? How about turning this cereal into a breading for French toast? Or mixing it into homemade ice cream? Granola bars?

[…] Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow Rice Crispy Treats […]
How fun are these?! I grew up eating Fruity Pebbles, and still do, so this would be a fun treat to try. Thanks for sharing! #client
I don’t think there was such a thing as fruity pebbles when I was a kid. We just had things like corn flakes and cheerios. I guess that things like kix and trix appeared when I was a young adult. Was there one called cocoa puff? I seem to remember chocolatey spheres, but cocoa pebbles were far better. I guess it would be nice to enjoy cereal at any time of day – the breakfast I like at any time is smoothies…
