Make frozen yogurt at home with only 5 ingredients. This peach version is the perfect summer treat and is ready within minutes.
Happy Fourth of July!! While I am sure you have all of your menu items planned or pre-made at this point (or celebrated yesterday) I just had to throw one last quick and easy recipe as you for today. This frozen Greek yogurt is a lot like the mango version I posted awhile back but instead uses peaches.
I found this recipe on Anna’s blog bcmom’s kitchen as part of The Secret Recipe Club this month, but not before I was tempted by all kinds of other recipes that would’ve been perfect for today such as a peach BBQ pulled chicken, rhubarb raspberry crisp, and something called a veggie kablooie. She’s been blogging since 2007 so there was a lot to choose from, but I ended up making her peach frozen yogurt because it’d be a great last minute dessert for today. Or any day this summer.

[…] Easy Peach Frozen Greek Yogurt […]
Just want to let you know that minus the banana and using maple syrup instead of honey (I don’t like the way honey flavor tends to dominate a dish like this) this also makes wonderful popsicles. Once recipe makes 6 popsicles. I used two peaches, pureed 1.5 of them to mix with the yogurt, then chopped the last half and mixed that in. Excellent popsicles!
Nice! I bet it would make for good popsicles!
What a perfect afternoon treat on a hot summer day! And since it uses frozen peaches, I guess you could make this almost any day. Great Secret Recipe Club choice.
Oh my gosh you have hit the PERFECT week for this! Absolutely GREAT SRC pick!
I finally got some nectarines that were ripe, froze them and made this today. We are enjoying it at this very minute. I made it in my high speed blender and it came out softer than I would want. Next time I’ll try it in the food processor and see if it comes out better. This one’s definitely a keeper, and hopefully I’ll be able to find either frozen peaches or truly ripe ones at the grocery. And unfortunately, although we’ll be traveling to peach country next week, I won’t have access to either a food processor or a high speed blender… :-(
Oh nectarines would be nice. Yea It was pretty soft for me too but then I froze it, let it thaw for 10 minutes, and then scooped it.
That is one indulgent looking treat. I love that it is guilt free too.
I need to make more ice cream or frozen yogurt this summer. I haven’t made one yet. This sounds delicious. I love peaches so yes we would be eating this right up. Happy Reveal Day!
Yummy! I’m going to make this ASAP!
Let me know how it goes!
What an amazing recipe to cool down on these hot days! I love this and I love easy it is! This was the perfect SRC pick!
Oh wow! I want a big bowl of that!!! Looks perfect for summer, and so fresh!
As it just so happens there’s a couple of frozen bananas knocking around my freezer and peaches are ripe and I think I’m making this soon. Great choice.
You won’t regret it!
Delish!!!! I made a frozen yogurt mango not too long ago and for some reason it disappeared from the freezer… ;-)
gotta replenish our reserves…
YUM, YUM, YUM!!!!! And so simple. I’m thinking it would probably also work with the ice cream setting on my high speed blender. Definitely need to find some frozen peaches. I’ve been wanting frozen snacks, and since I don’t have popsicle molds, this would be absolutely perfect. Happy Independence Day!
You could always freeze fresh peaches that you’ve sliced up yourself if you cannot find any in the freezer section of your grocery store!
