I received my third Stitch Fix yesterday after being inspired to try it again by reading everyone’s great reviews recently. Especially since many people said their third fix was their favorite. I on the other hand liked this fix no more than the others. The idea of Stitch Fix is really fun and I want enjoy my experiences, but so far it’s just been okay. The first two fixes I kept just one item each that I really enjoyed, but would’ve kept more if the other items were in my price range. This time the prices are better but not the items. I did end up keeping one top this time to justify the $20 styling fee I had already paid upfront. It wasn’t a top I would’ve normally picked up, but I will wear it.
I will try it again but am going to wait a little while. In the meantime, I made myself this milkshake to lift my spirits. I appreciate nuts in my ice cream, but this is the first time I’ve had them mixed into a milkshake and it was just as wonderful. The drizzle of honey around the inside of the rim makes for a creative presentation.
As a side note, it’s an interesting thing that the same blender I use to make green monster smoothies nearly every morning was used to make this oh-so-not-healthy beverage. Apparently my blender needs some fat in it every now and then, just like my belly!

I was scrolling through your ice cream posts this week – envying the ice cream sandwich making skills. Then I paused on this one. Simply have to try it!
Thanks for the skills prop :-). And you definitely need to make that milkshake. Too easy not to.
This milkshake would definitely lift spirits! Sounds amazing! Love the flavors going on here. Yum! As for StitchFix… I got in on the hype too but I wasn’t wowed. Sadly disappointed. I wanted to love it! It’s such a cool concept but in reality, just didn’t work for me.
I’ve never done stitch fix but I’m so picky about clothing that I can’t imagine I’d get something I like every month or at least something I like ENOUGH to justify the cost!
Thoughts of this milkshake have left me ravenous.
The first two I got had really cute items, but they were just too expensive to keep it all.
That’s a bummer about your StitchFix! I’ve never tried it myself, but I’ve heard numerous other people share similar thoughts–either the clothing wasn’t that cute, or it was way too pricey for the quality. My super-cynical view is that some big bloggers totally talk it up so they get affiliate commissions from all their readers…but that’s not they type of thing most people will admit to, right?
Aaaanyhow, this milkshake looks like it would totally solve any problem! I love the flavor combination!
Yum! This looks amazing!!
Girl, ice cream always makes me feel better than clothes anyways. ;) Also, this? SO pretty!
Oh my this sounds terribly decadent and absolutely delectable!!!
awww bummer about the stitch fix mediocrity. This milkshake def. looks like the perfect way to lift your spirits-I’ve never had nuts in my milkshakes either but I LOVE the idea!
Love the pecans and honey touch!Your milkshake looks and sounds like a Southern belle’s dream come true.
I like a little texture to my milkshakes – so the nuts sound great! p.s. I have those glasses too :-)
I love nuts in my milkshake too!! PS: I spy turkey burger with guac?? Let’s share!
Haha it is a guacamole burger, but with chicken. I will share next week.
Yum! Love the idea of adding pecans to a milkshake!
Milk shakes are great spirit lifters. This one sounds incredible!
Thank you for reminding me that I do not make nearly enough milkshakes! Whipping this up asap.
Your Milkshake looks incredible. I cant wait to try this fabulous recipe!
I haven’t tried Stitch Fix yet. Not sure it’s worth it! But I love surprises. On the other hand, this ice cream looks awesome!!
I think your blender may never want to go back to healthy smoothies! What a delicious milkshake, Erin!
I wish I had the money for stitch fix… $20 per month is already too much, and since the outfits are in the $100s sometimes… no, I cannot. Oh well. This milkshake looks lovely though!
