When planning out dinner, how often do you incorporate frozen options as side dishes? I frequently use frozen vegetables and fries to compliment my meals. It makes completing a meal so much easier. And when it comes to frozen side dishes, Alexia has a wide range of delicious appetizers, breads, fries and potato side dishes. What was novel to me were their sweet potato puffs – they are tater tots made from sweet potatoes!
I decided to serve them with baked honey mustard chicken because it reminded me of dipping sweet potato fries into honey mustard sauce. Although, most of them disappeared without ever being bathed in honey mustard drippings from the chicken because they were so flavorful on their own. That’s the magic of sweet potatoes, they really don’t need any fancy work. But having them in crispy little puffs definitely helped the experience. Totally plan on buying these again and again and bet they would be good as a casserole topper too.
