Do you love deviled eggs? How about pepperoni pizza? What if you put the two together? Pizza deviled eggs might sound strange but I promise they are just delicious!
I was skeptical at first. Pepperoni? On a deviled egg? Most deviled egg recipes I’ve had with extra/different ingredients than the traditional way haven’t been that great. But I just had to try these. They looked too interesting not to. And you know what? They are amazing! It took a lot of restraint to not eat them all myself. Thankfully I had friends over to help.
Now I have to figure out what to do with the remaining bag of mini pepperonis. Pizza tater tot casserole is a serious contender. Any other ideas??
PEPPERONI PIZZA DEVILED EGGS
Makes 1 dozen
Ingredients:
6 hard boiled eggs
3 Tbsp mayonnaise
1 Tbsp tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste
24 mini turkey pepperoni
1 Tbsp shredded Asiago cheese (or Parmesan)
1 tsp dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
Directions:
- Slice eggs in half lengthwise, removing the yolk from the center of each egg. Place the yolks in a small bowl. Add the mayonnaise, paste, salt and pepper to the bowl. Mix with a fork until creamy. Spoon into the center of each egg. Top with pepperoni, a sprinkling of asagio cheese, and a dried herbs for garnish. Enjoy!

I love deviled eggs! I just made some BLT deviled eggs and they were so fun.!
I might be a little bit obsessed with those tiny pepperonis :) yum
Oooh, and I thought my bacon deviled eggs were unique…these are way more uniquer. (Spell check says “uniquer” is totally a word! Ha!)
I might even get my kids to eat these if they’re covered in pepperoni! :)
Haha! That’s such a great word too! I gotta try your bacon deviled eggs now.
