Nutella can be a dip on it’s own but have you tried adding cream cheese? This popular Nutella fruit dip that’s tastes like Nutella cheesecake.
While in Italy with several groups of students from around the US in 2002, we experimented with Nutella in an attempt to discover if any food items do not taste good dipped in it. If you are familiar with this spread, you will most likely not be surprised when I tell you that there wee very few things that did not work well. Even a sub sandwich passed the test! We got a bit creative and three of us took it so far as to use Nutella as war paint and wandered around Rome… I’m not even going to try and explain that adventure.
After making the Nutella Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies, I was inspired to make a fruit dip with Nutella. Granted there really is no need to add anything to it for it to be a fantastic fruit dip on its own, but I absolutely adore the flavor of the cream cheese mixed in. Brent and I sat on the couch while watching our recent obsession ‘Lie To Me’ and devoured the entire plate seen in the picture. Could not resist!
